Work closely with Cal Poly Ticketing Office or off-site ticketing vendor on distribution of tickets for large scale events requiring tickets, providing ongoing data of eligible ticket holders and processing requests for additional tickets.
Build and maintain digital recruitment tools to collect and organize staffing needs for large university events.
Develop and maintain a robust database of community volunteers, document schedules and records of student employee, MPPs, student clubs and all other volunteer shifts.
Draft memos of understanding with university departments and other campus organizations and student clubs that provide service at university housing move-in and commencement.
Support all administrative tasks associated with supporting temporary student employees, faculty and staff volunteers, and community volunteers including ordering uniforms, name tags, meals, arranging for accommodations (if needed), drafting meeting agendas, order swag, coordinating with vendors related to supporting volunteers/employees.
Coordinate and distribute incentives to participants based on event plans.
Hire, train, and supervise a team of permanent student assistants to assist with operations.
