Position Description

Position Summary

The Technical Project Management role will lead cross functional teams to drive elements of projects to readiness and constant support. The Technical Project Management role will be able to understand and articulate the business and technical implications of decisions that are being made, while managing stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery and ongoing support. The Technical Project Management role will develop, configure and implement a robust suite of SaaS project management tools to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skill in effective leadership and project management, specializing in integrating technology, with a proven ability to organize and lead teams, including internal design and operations staff, external partners and technical consultants.
  • Demonstrated skill working with vendor negotiations, escalations and contracts.
  • Demonstrated skill influencing teams to achieve effective outcomes and positive relationships between team members.
  • Ability to lead teams to develop simple solutions, striving for delivering iteratively.
  • Demonstrated skill translating technological solutions into terms understandable by a variety of users; demonstrated ability to work with technical and non-technical staff to identify user requirements and translate them into technology-based solutions.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant experience (additional qualifying experience may be substituted for up to two years of required education on a year-for-year basis).

Salary:

Anticipated Hiring Range: $91,200 - $110,400 per year

Classification Range: $52,464 - $129,504 per year

This position may be "Designated" under California State University's Conflict of Interest Code. This would require the filing of a Statement of Economic Interest on an annual basis and the completion of training within 6 months of assuming office and every 2 years thereafter.
