Executive Director (SMSU) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Executive Director of the Santos Manuel Student Union (SMSU), a 501 c3 auxiliary organization of CSU San Bernardino, provides leadership, management, direction, and financial oversight and serves as the senior executive accountable for strategic direction, fiscal stewardship, policy implementation, risk management, and effective administration to all areas of the SMSU including all personnel, year-round programming, facilities & operations, administrative support services, diversity & belonging-focused affinity centers, and the Recreation & Wellness Department (RecWell). Together, these areas serve more than 16,000 CSUSB students through programs, services, facilities, employment opportunities and student engagement experiences. The Executive Director also provides oversight of staffing and operations to the Rancho Mirage Student Center (RMSC) located on CSUSB’s Palm Desert Campus. The RMSC offers student engagement programming, similar to that of the SMSU, to the 2,000+ students who attend the PDC. The areas under the purview of the SMSU Executive Director employ approximately 40 managers & professional staff members and 250+ student employees. As part of the university’s commitment to shared governance, the Executive Director also works directly with and in support of the SMSU Board of Directors. The Executive Director supports informed Board governance by preparing recommendations, timely reports, and decision materials, and by implementing Board-approved priorities in coordination with SMSU management/staff and university leadership.

Accountant II Bakersfield
Under the general direction of the Director of Payment Services, the Accountant II plays a key role in supporting the university’s financial operations through day‑to‑day accounting, accounts payable, and financial reporting activities. This position performs professional‑level accounting work using GAAP, FASB, and GASB standards, including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial analysis, and compliance reporting. The Accountant II contributes to campus and systemwide financial reporting, prepares forecasts and board reports to support informed decision‑making, and assists with the implementation of new payment systems such as Concur. In addition, this role provides guidance and training to payment services staff and campus partners, helping to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficient financial processes across the university.
Physician - Primary Care (10/12 Pay Plan) East Bay
The Physician is an integral part of the Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS). The Physician participates in the daily operational and practical needs of SHCS, primarily performs medical diagnostic and treatment activities, and participates in practitioner peer review staff educational and administrative meetings as needed. The incumbent will also assist SHCS in its on-going preparation for re-accreditation and HIPAA compliance as well as provide health education and participate in teaching activities. The incumbent will have regular contact with blood, blood products and bodily fluids as well as communicable diseases. There may also be some contact with physical and chemical hazardous materials, such as liquid nitrogen, TCA, etc. Routine exposure to needles and sharp objects is to be expected. The incumbent must be able to respond to on-campus medical emergencies which may require walking outdoors several blocks carrying medical equipment or driving a minivan. This position may require occasional coverage at CSU East Bay’s Concord campus. The incumbent must be willing to comply with local and state laws governing CSU practices, be able to perform within the full spectrum of their specialty and comply with rules and regulations presented within their respective department(s).
Associate Dean, Graduate School of Education, College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences East Bay
The College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences (CLASS) comprises 19 academic departments, including the Graduate School of Education (GSE), which consists of three departments: Educational Leadership (EDLD), Educational Psychology (EPSY), and Teacher Education (TED). The GSE offers multiple credential and master’s degree programs, as well as a Doctorate in Education in Educational Leadership for Social Justice. K–12 credential programs include Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Added Authorization in Reading and Literacy, Preliminary Administrative Services Credential, and Clear Administrative Services Credential. These programs are fully accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). In addition, EPSY’s MS in Counseling Psychology programs are accredited by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) for Marriage and Family Therapy Associate licensure. Reporting to the Dean, the Associate Dean works collaboratively to advance the College’s strategic vision and lead the implementation of ongoing and new initiatives. The Associate Dean performs a broad range of administrative functions for the GSE, including oversight of faculty and staff and supervision of fiscal operations. This role includes assisting department chairs with financial and strategic planning, annual enrollments, recruitment, and faculty workload. The Associate Dean represents the GSE in formal grievance matters and serves as Chair of Accreditation, overseeing California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and WSCUC accreditation processes. In collaboration with the Dean, the Associate Dean oversees tenure-track faculty searches; serves as the immediate supervisor of GSE office staff; and acts as an ombuds for faculty and staff concerns.
GameZone and Esports Coordinator East Bay
Under supervision of the Director, Recreation, Wellbeing, & University Unions (RWUU), the GameZone and Esports Coordinator is responsible for the development and coordination of a comprehensive campus Esports / Gaming Program. The GameZone and Esports Coordinator supports general operations for the GameZone, including gaming consoles housed in the GameCave, and leisure games such as billiards, air hockey, card games and board games offered within the GameRoom. This position coordinates equipment needs for both the program and the facilities involved and collaborates with the Director to establish annual budget projections for acquisition, maintenance and repair. This position ensures procedures for minimizing risk and injury to participants while engaging in programs and services, and establishes protocol for reporting to the Director, Risk Management, and emergency response personnel when applicable. The GameZone and Esports Coordinator is responsible for providing lead work direction for the GameZone student staff including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training the team to facilitate daily operations of the GameZone spaces. This position works closely with Recreation, Wellbeing, and University Union (RWUU) leadership to enhance student leadership development through training experiences focused on customer experience, outreach efforts, and skill acquisition, while also implementing regular assessment of student employee skills and measured growth. The position also collaborates with RWUU staff to develop annual reports, procedure manuals, and statistics for programs/facility usage. They work with RWUU staff to support data collection and evaluation of programmatic impact upon recruitment, retention, and graduation efforts.
