Work collaboratively with peers and the business community to expand expertise. Community outreach responsibilities will include public presentations to key stakeholders and service on appropriate boards and committees related to economic development. Complete all forms and maintain client files as required by the SBA. Document information, assistance, and outcomes of sessions with clients related to consulting and training activities performed by the consultant. Provide Center with timely reports related to milestones and success stories of client economic outcomes. Reporting to the Dean of the CSUSB Libraries, the Student Success Librarian will coordinate library outreach and instruction efforts for first- and second-year students and transfer students. Working closely with the Outreach Librarian and Instruction Librarian, this person will promote library services, programs, and collections through external partnerships, program development, workshops, and targeted support. The Student Success Librarian will remain current with developments and trends in teaching, research, and learning that impact CSUSB students, such as AI tools, and will be proactive in incorporating such developments in instructional and programmatic library offerings. The successful candidate will be expected to meet retention, promotion, and tenure standards for tenure-track library faculty in three areas: (1) professional assignments; (2) research, scholarly, or creative contributions; and (3) university and/or community service. The library provides support for and fosters intellectual endeavors. Librarians are valued as faculty with their own varied research interests which may not be limited to library science.   Applicants selected for in-person interviews will be reimbursed for any travel expenses they incur. Under general supervision of the Facilities Project Supervisor for HVAC, the Building Service Engineer operates, maintains, repairs, and inspects HVAC and water systems. Key responsibilities include testing and calibrating machinery, chemically treating boiler and cooling tower water, diagnosing and repairing distribution systems, and utilizing building automation systems for troubleshooting and optimization. The engineer responds to service requests, maintains swimming pools, and keeps detailed logs of maintenance activities.

This position will also ensure compliance with CSU internal policies relating to fire and panic safety construction and may represent the campuses in interacting with municipal fire departments. This position will report to a Deputy Director of Fire Safety and serve as a Chancellor’s Office Capital Planning, Design and Construction representative for the CSU Fire Safety program at each CSU campus. Upon review and approval by the State Fire Marshal of the individual’s appropriate level of expertise, the incumbent will become a Designated Campus Fire Marshal (DCFM).
