Under the general direction of the Assistant Vice President of Student Success & Engagement, who provides broad guidelines, the Executive Director independently determines schedules, work assignments, planning, staffing, directing, controlling, and managing operations; manages construction and alteration projects, facility and program improvements, and maintains the infrastructures of the HRL facilities and its programs. The Executive Director for Housing, Residential Life leads the Housing Department and Residential Life Program including expanding the housing residence facilities to increase housing residents. This position will provide overall management of the Housing & Residential Program. Incumbent is responsible for building community partnerships and proposing solutions for the development and implementation of a comprehensive program for housing and residential life, including living/learning communities, dining, and resident occupancy levels. This position ensures that proposed solutions are based on collected evidence of need and best practices in the nation. Moreover, this position utilizes leadership and management skills to ensure high employee performance and the maintenance of an inclusive, respectful work environment that impacts enhanced learning and developmental environments for students. |
